Why Donate to PFI?
PFI aims to be the best education center for apparel in the USA. Our teachers work in apparel. Our goal is to exceed expectations while giving students a fun and rewarding experience. That holds whether you pursue a career certificate or take just one or two classes for fun.
Portland Fashion Institute is a nonprofit fashion design school with a mission to introduce creative people to the apparel skills they need to get a good job in the industry or to expand personal skills. We believe in a affordable education while promoting a diverse, progressive, sustainable and ethical industry.
We have a responsibility to provide guidance and support to the next generation of talent. Making their path a little easier for them, by sharing our experiences.

Scholarships
Your gift to the general scholarships, or a named scholarship funds, provides young designers with the financial help they need to get a great education and become the next generation of creative talent in the greater Portland area and beyond.
Community Partnerships
PFI’s Community Partnerships Program aims to reach out groups in the greater Portland area by providing free art and design classes and resources to youth and their families.
