Teen T-shirt Transformation
Wednesday, August 13, 10am-2pm, $120/person
There are hundreds of ways to rethink old t-shirts with or without using a sewing machine. Make something trendy and cute. It could be an outfit, it could be a bag. Let your imagination be your guide.
Teen Workshop:
Tuesday & Wednesday, August 19 & 20, 10 am-3 pm, $269/person
In this 2-session workshop, you’ll learn basic sewing skills. Then go on to upcycling clothes and converting them into other wearables. Bring clean, gently-worn garments to explore ways to transform them into something new using various techniques and tools such as resizing, ruching, appliqué, and patchwork. We will bring some garments to upcycle too. Learn about fast fashion and the waste that goes along with today’s apparel industry. Then move on to making an outfit for school, play and parties!
No prior sewing experience is necessary.
Open to teens ages 13-18
