Oregon College Savings Plan (529 plans).  According to OCSP administrators, PFI is eligible to receive 529 funds. Explanation:

An eligible educational institution.
An eligible educational institution is one that maintains a regular faculty and curriculum and normally has a regularly enrolled body of students in attendance at the place where it regularly carries on its educational activities.

Qualified education expenses.
For purposes of tax-free scholarships and fellowship grants, these are expenses for:
— Tuition and fees required to enroll at or attend an eligible educational institution; and
— Course-related expenses, such as fees, books, supplies, and equipment that are required for the courses at the eligible educational institution. These items must be required of all students in your course of instruction.

OCSP suggests that you refer to the IRS website here for detailed information.   — OCSP, March 21, 2021

Workforce.  Oregon has PFI on its list of Eligible Training Providers. All questions regarding funding should be directed to your local workforce board.  Visit this page for more information about their many funding programs.  The Oregon Workforce Partnership and Worksystems, Inc are a non-partisan, private/public, statewide association committed to building a more highly skilled workforce to support and expand Oregon’s economy.

Third Party Billing.  Many employers and agencies assist students with college costs. To have your bill paid by a third party, formal billing arrangements must be set up and approved by PFI and the third party before the term begins.  This includes IRCO and many area employers such as Adidas, Columbia Sportswear, Hanna Andersson, Nike and Powell’s Books.

Veterans Benefits.  Veterans are entitled to assistance with their college expenses. Apply with the VA and follow the steps below. This includes tuition assistance programs such as Voc Rehab, Go Army and MyCAA.
