Cancellation: Other than registration fee, no funds are committed unless a student is accepted at PFI. A student may cancel enrollment by giving oral or
written notice to the school. Unless the school has discontinued a term’s program of instruction, the student is financially obligated to the school.
Withdrawal Procedure: Tuition refunds will be determined as follows:
- - If an applicant is rejected for enrollment by an institution, or if a prospective international student has his/her visa application rejected, a full refund of all monies paid are made to the applicant, less an application/registration fee of $50.
EACH QUARTER
- - If an applicant cancels within five business days of the date of enrollment, and before start of classes, all monies paid for that term shall be refunded, (no refund for application/registration fee of $75).
- - If cancellation occurs within five business days of the date of enrollment, and before the commencement of classes, all monies specific to the enrollment agreement shall be refunded. If cancellation occurs after five business days of the date of enrollment, and before the commencement of classes, the school may retain only the published registration fee. Such fee shall not exceed 15 percent of the tuition cost, or $150, whichever is less..
- - If an applicant cancels during the first week of class, students will be charged for the first week of class. Other funds will be returned (no refund for application/registration fee of $50).
- - If an applicant cancels or is terminated after start of classes and before 50 percent of the term is completed, refund will be prorated based on last date of attendance (LDA) plus ten percent (10%) of the remaining funds (no refund for application/registration fee of $75).
Refunds. Refunds are paid per PFI’s Cancellation and Refund Policy. Refunds are paid within 40 calendar days from the documented date of determination (DOD). DOD is the date the student gives written or verbal notice of withdrawal to the institution or the date the institution terminates the student, by applying the institution’s attendance, conduct, or Satisfactory Academic Progress policy. If a student provides advanced notice of withdrawal such that the 40-day window for refund processing ends before the LDA, the refund must be paid within 40 calendar days from the LDA.
The $50 registration fee is nonrefundable.
