1. You should have received your username and password.

a. Click on your message from “Populi” then reset your password. b. Need help? Contact: candice@pfi.edu.

2. Login at https://pfi.populiweb.com.
PREPARE FOR CLASS: VIEW YOUR FIRST ASSIGNMENT
3. Click “My Courses” and then the name of your class: TEST CLASS.
4. Once in the class, click “Test Quiz” in the left menu. Answer the five questions. 5. Click “Chat” in the left menu.

a. Read the teacher’s message in the TEST CLASS chat room.

b. Download On Writing Well by William Zinsser. Use this guide for tips on grammar, spelling, professional behavior and authenticity throughout your PFI career. Copies are in PFI’s E-library along with many other reference books and documents.

c. Answer one of the three statements in the chat room using advice from Zinsser.

6. Turn in an assignment.
a. Take a screenshot from the Internet of your favorite designer.
b. Turn that in by clicking “Assignments” on the left menu. Then you can click the link

with the paper clip to attach the assignment. Be sure to click the “Post” button.

7. Download the TEST CLASS syllabus and read sections on: a. Course objectives and competencies
b. Standards of conduct
c. Incomplete

d. Plagiarism
e. Attendance Policy
f. Evaluation
g. Course calendar
h. Answer the 10 questions on the exam and turn in

8. Visit https://portlandfashioninstitute.com/calendar. Add the date for the next student orientation on your calendar. See you there!
