In this introduction to the principles of graphic design you will explore typography, artwork creation, image editing, and layout. Learn how to use digital design tools to incorporate these elements into fabric, apparel and brand collateral that stands out. End this course with a foundation of two dimensional design theory and digital skills needed to create, evaluate and deliver professional graphics.


Prerequisite: Adobe Illustrator (NOTE:You can take this class without knowing Adobe but having this skill will help you better apply what you learn in Graphic Design.

Bring a laptop loaded with Adobe CC, a thumb drive, a mouse and something with which to take notes. Miscellaneous art supplies will be used during the class. Details will be given in the first class.
