Learn CAD (computer-aided design) to create, manipulate and grade patterns. Use input (scan & digitize) and output (plotter & cutter) devices. Students digitize patterns, modify them, check and correct notches, armholes, necklines and seamlines, create variations and seam allowances. Students use Optitex 15 — the same software used by Nike and many designers — and an Algotex digitizer.
